What is a one-way pallet?
A one-way pallet, also called a non-EPAL euro size pallet, has the same dimensions as a euro pallet, 1200 × 800 mm, but does not carry the EPAL mark. It is usually of lighter construction and costs less, which makes it the preferred choice when the pallet leaves with the goods and is not returned.
When it makes sense
- Deliveries to customers who do not return pallets
- Export shipments where pallets are not exchanged
- Storage of goods of moderate weight
- Companies that want euro pallet dimensions at a lower cost
Because the size is the same, it fits the same racking, trucks and containers as a euro pallet, so nothing changes in the way you load.
One-way or EPAL euro pallet?
If the receiver requires pallet exchange or delivery on a certified euro pallet, choose EPAL euro pallets. For loads that need more strength, see our industrial pallets. In every other case, the one-way pallet is the most economical choice.
